Deep tissue Massage
Uses slow, deep strokes along the muscle fibers that help release areas of chronic contraction.
Trigger Point Therapy
Applies direct pressure to hypersensitive areas or “knots”, which are like little cramps inside a muscle, to help release the muscle and increase blood flow to the area.
Myofascial Release
Combines bringing a joint through a Range of Motion (ROM) while applying pressure along the muscle fibers to help unstick the facia from the muscle fibers and improve ROM.
Parasympathetic
Uses slow, upward, lighter strokes to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which lowers heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature, improves circulation and lymphatic flow and promotes feelings of relaxation and calm.
Cupping Massage
Cupping is a technique that uses specialized cups (I use silicon cups) to create suction on muscle tissues that decompress the area to help increase blood flow, nerve conduction and lymphatic flow. Dynamic cupping (gliding the cups along or across muscle fibers) also aids in releasing fascia from muscle fibers which further improves circulation and decreases muscle tension. Static Cupping can leave marks on the areas worked for a few days, dynamic cupping can be done without leaving marks.
On-line Group fitness classes
My on-line group fitness class is an on-going class that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30pm EST. It is geared towards active older adults; however, anyone is welcome to join. It’s a low impact class, that combines aerobic fitness, weight training, balance exercises, flexibility and cognitive training. I encourage everyone to go at their own pace and listen to their bodies, modifying any exercise to suit your needs. If you are interested in joining my class, I would love to meet you via zoom prior to joining class so I can get to know you, gage your fitness level and go over exercise form and modifications so you can get the most out of class, avoid injury and stay safe.

Personal Training/ Partner Training
Looking for something more personalized to achieve your fitness goals? One-on-One Personal Training is a great option. We’ll sit down and discuss your Health and Fitness desires, do a fitness assessment to get a baseline of where you are starting, create SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, & Timely) goals and your fitness plan. Coaching goes along great with an exercise plan. With added coaching we will also discuss nutrition, the importance of stress reduction, a good night’s sleep, creating better habits and connections to people. Speaking of other people, partner training is also a great option. It adds the benefits of camaraderie, accountability, and fun! Plus, it saves you money! Bonus!
